Alex Lehmann

Alex Lehmann is studying for a PhD at UNSW Sydney. His research involves the development of an innovative receiver technology for high temperature solar furnaces. Hopefully the research will open up new avenues into the exciting field of solar fuels.

Alex is director and principle research scientist at Heliosystems Pty Ltd and has patented and overseen the development of solar concentrator technologies in Australia and China. Alex is also interested in building integrated heliostat systems and contributed to the design of One Central Park and Rhodes Central. Alex has experience in mathematical and computational modelling, structural and mechanical design, robotics and automation as well as experimental and applied research.
